I take exactly the aforementioned issue...the app data folder has close to 400GB as well.  I have to poke and search through to see what to delete and what to save?  How can that be right or even remotely user friendly???

Applications store their user-specific files and settings at that place, and deleting them may cause loss of essential data. What I do normally is to browse through each and every folder under AppData and delete any unused folder, created by software which I uninstalled already. Backing them up beforehand is a skilful idea.

I can tell you what is incorrect.  Check the microsoft folder it is probably responsible for 90% of your wasted infinite, because the programmers at microsoft are lazy and incompetent.  They practise not know how to clean up afterward themselves (i.e., delete temporary files).

Hey All,

I believe I finally constitute the solution for this issue.

I looked into it myself trying to meet which folder takes the highest space. I constitute it under APP Information> Local > Microsoft> Office. 16.0. OfficeFileCache

I don't know what is that exactly, but it contained over 16,000 file with the extension .FSD

The total size was 35GB

I took the adventure and deleted them all and it worked (at to the lowest degree till now :D)

I don't know is this is right or not, but I was struggling with my 64GB tablet to prepare the storage size.

Please let me know your opinions and suggestions and comments.

Cheers in advance

Ahmed
