Outdoor Water Gun Spray Painting

Make Exterior Art with Water Guns

This easy squirt gun art project doesn't take much in the way of homework or setup, and it's a good deal of fun. You could even do it with a aggroup of kids for a diverting outdoor party OR play day of the month activity that the grown ups wish want to get into, overly.

Supplies for Outdoor Water Guns:

  • Urine guns (ours came from the dollar mark spot at Target)
  • Liquid watercolors or materials to make your own (go through beneath)
  • Eyedropper Oregon medicine syringe
  • Large paper
  • Magnetic tape
  • A fence

Qualification Tearful Watercolors:

If you don't already suffer liquid watercolors, you can easily score your own.

Combine a cup of stewing water supply with a tablespoon of vinegar. Divide into smaller containers and summate a few drops (ours shown have quartet or quintuplet drops for each one) of food colour; we used atomic number 10 colors.

Painting with Water Guns:

The best way of life we found to get ahead the liquid watercolors into the water guns was exploitation a plastic syringe from the pharmacy that's meant to comprise used to measure liquid medicine. The tip fit absolutely into the hole of the water gun.

Fill the guns with liquid watercolors. I had deuce guns but we concluded up using them incomparable at a time anyway.

Tape few pieces from a foresighted roll of paper onto a fence. You can also do this happening the ground if you don't have a fence ready to hand, but you'll want to weigh toss off the corners so your paper doesn't blow away.

Spray the guns at the paper, changing colors when you like.

This was a lot of fun some both of us, and it was interesting to see the difference in color between when the paint was wet and dry.

We'd love to effort this over again with stronger paint colours, it was lots of fun!
